Biography for Michaela Petermann

I started my career at Deutsche Bank HQ in Frankfurt where I was asked to join a high potential employee programme. This kick started my interests in how business transformation and cross functional teams collaborate to deliver and achieve their goals.

Apart from developing expertise in business process optimisation, organisational development, system integration and supporting the implementation of Target Operating Models, I also learned how crucial transparent stakeholder engagement is for the success of any business undertaking.

I am bilingual – German/English - and have been working in Programme-, Operations-, and Business Relationship Management for many years - predominantly in continental Europe and the UK.

What I love about my area of work is the opportunity to help people and hereby irrespective of industry or size, to improve their ways of working, develop or re-ignite relationships across departments, and with new or existing third party suppliers.

My skills are varied and I have worked in the NFP, Public and Corporate Sector. I am familiar with FinTech, Investment Banking, Insurance, Broadcasting, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Retail and FMCG Industries.

I have lead teams of up to 45, making sure colleagues understand the objectives and the bigger picture that they are contributing towards.

Being curious by nature and having been thrust into different environments from an early age I have learned to adapt to new scenarios very quickly. Through this, my varied business roles, volunteering activities and my hobbies I have been able to transfer my skills and experiences to my working life. I think I can say, I am someone who can very much hit the ground running.
